Through cosmic intervention, I crossed digital paths with Jason Adams of The Upsidedown and was asked to create a music video for a track from the reissue of their 2004 LP Trust Electricity. I chose the song Saint Theresa of the Roses because I was drawn to its melancholic vibration and kept passing a church named after the saint during this time period.
This video was shot entirely on VHS and I was inspired by David Lynch, Sister of Mercy videos and the legend of Saint Theresa offering roses, her symbol of psychic wedlock, to devout vigilists.
