Ahhh! When Meg and I first started Power Spell over 2 years ago, we NEVER imagined the amount of support we would receive and people we would touch and befriend through heavy metal yoga. It is an honor to help create a space for metalheads of all types to come together on their mats. We are proud to have been featured in this article in Eating Well magazine, written by Liz Talago! Do Headstands to Heavy Metal

Power Spell Yoga in Nashville is sidestepping the standard chanting-monk soundtrack, instead playing heavy metal in the back room of the Crying Wolf bar, picked for its hard-rock vibe. "There's a misconception that yogis should look and act the same, which can be a turnoff if you feel like you don't fit in," says founder Meghan D'Amico (pictured above, center). So this donation-based practice works to create an inclusive, welcoming space for the city's community of metalheads and punks (and anyone else who'd rather do sun salutations to The Sword). "Our goal is to bring people together to meditate and move—we just happen to also love metal!"

This was the most amazing honor for me to appear in the 2018 Music issue of The East Nashvillian! In 2018, I did more interviews than ever and every one was a new and awkward learning experience for me. Thanks to Brittney McKenna for being a lovely interviewer and Travis Commeau and Natasha Colleran for making me feel so comfortable during the shoot in the white-hot heat and making me look pretty alright.

This was suuuuuch a lovely interview with Audra Ingram involving my partner in crime, Brianne! Brianne and I were invited to the Nashville Scene’s Best of Nashville Awards where we learned our new psych fest creation Far Out Nashville had been named “Best New Festival” in it’s first year! Realtors Give Back to Community by Supporting Charitable Causes >>> THE TENNESSEAN

Well, now, this was a treat to be included in this article on Realtors who are giving back to their communities in Middle Tennessee through volunteering and donations. I have been a proud supporter and long-time volunteer of Youth Empowerment through Arts & Humanities / Tennessee Teens Rock Camps since 2010 and it was a no-brainer for me to decide to start putting 5% of my real estate sales commissions towards this cause. These camps have changed me fundamentally as a person and I can only IMAGINE how mind-blowing it must be for the teenaged campers!
